Doc to PDF Converter

PDFree from Motechno.info is what I use. It's pretty good and the only annoyance is every time you convert a doc, your browser goes to the Motechno website (if you're online that is)

it's opensource, so...no popups :)

pdf995 is the best one we've found. It's pdfs are a lot smaller than the pdfs generated by Openoffice.

CutePDF: Seconded. Works like a charm, and completely free.
It installs a virtual printer, so any program can 'print' to PDF.

OpenOffice. Adds "bookmarks" to the PDF aswell.
