Fraps Conflict

Does anyone know of any problems with Fraps causing conflicts with Blitz3D?

When Fraps is running, starting a Blitz3D program using JV-ODE causes Blitz to report a 'Userlib not found' error. It seems to prevent Blitz from detecting the dll on startup.

However, starting Fraps while the program is already running works ok.

Any ideas?

I can confirm this.
also here the same problem with jv-ode and Fraps. But the other Freeware ode Wrapper works without Problems in combination with Fraps.

possible causes ?
Perhaps Vip3R then can fix the fault. (Even if Fraps has partial fault and do not like jv-ode) :)

Does it have to be Fraps? Have you tried GameCam?

I don't use Fraps myself, the problem was reported by a JV-ODE user. I'm trying to gather some info on whether Fraps has caused anyone else problems with Blitz3D detecting other userlib dll's.

As far as I can tell from google searches etc, Fraps does seem to upset some software.

I can't think of any reason for it other than the current directory is being switched by Fraps before Blitz3D detects the 'JV-ODE.dll'.

GameCam works fine AFAIK.
