B3D v1.91 - hooray!

Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/B3D v1.91 - hooray!

Just for those who I know really needed this, apparently the movie leak is fixed - THANK YOU MARK - it's a long way to New Zealand from here - but he heard.

in fact here's the relevant bits:

***** V1.91 *****

Fixed Movie leak

Updated FMOD to version 375.

Fixed sprite vertex buffer glitches.

Fixed function param used in For...Each causing mysterious object deletions.

:)

IPete2.

Also the B+ update (v1.42 I think?) shares the FMOD update (which does NOT solve crashing module playback) and the function param bug.

Blitz3D is Dead!!!

BigFoot Is Alive And Well!!!

yes... yes, i've heard these things said... though, for the life of me, i remember not where...

which does NOT solve crashing module playback
what's that then?

Also the latest update does not solve "clicked" FT2 mods where "key up" is used (I used this a lot) as it cuts the volume off instead of ramps it. Moduplug player and other players are not clicky with the same mod.

Also in blitz plus (poss in B3D too) there is some kinda MP3 bug where sometimes an MP3 plays all stuttery and even if you stop it and play other ones the same occurs. Exit game and go back in an it's fine, anyone else had this?

module playback crashing is to do with impulse tracker files only as far as i know.

Personally Im guessing something to do with virtual channels.

all stuttery

I had a strange one a while ago: wav files were auto-looping.
Eventually I found out that they were the ones edited and exported from a certain editor; I passed them through another editor and problem solved.
The problem was not in Blitz, but in the file format.

weird. These mp3 only stutter about 2% of the time, weird is non-consistant.
