Weekend project

After listening to large amounts of cussing from down the hall all week to do with installer nightmares and myself punching the keyboard a little louder due to constant reboots into and out of operating systems from the commercially viable one to the complete waste of time one...

Anyway, boss said no maxgui release till Monday and the other boss said my caregiving wasn't required so I have the weekend completely free...

options are

- post some sticky threads to get blitzmax and maxgui faqs underway

- go to bed early or stay up all night to watch the all blacks live in some pub somewhere - better mention this one to mark

- delete my until further notice thread so this post doesn't make me look like a hypocrite

- dust off some blitz projects in need of care and attention

Anyone else here got the entire weekend off and currently mounting themselves a challenge?

Yep, goin to be playing Final Fantasy XI all weekend, my guild be doing Dynamis-Xarcarbard tommorrow, we are sooo going to get our asses handed to us.
(guides recommned 64 people to beat that place, we usually only have 42 people show-up for "Dynamis" runs)

Anyways, yes. Setting up my server again so the entire house has access to it to back up stuff. Including Subversion, FTP, and Apache for testing (probably throw distcc on there as well).

I am going to spend the weekend working on my game. And by that, I mean I will be playing games. Strictly for research purposes, of course.

Plus, I've got visitors coming into town. Coincidence that there are multiple in one weekend. I suppose I should decide on a place to take my sister to dinner.

If dusting off the Blitz projects involves Skidmarks Construction Kit, then I have to agree with Dave. ( I would concur, but frankly, there's been altogether too much of that around here lately - cue someone quoting the bracketed part of this post and concurring with it. )

I've got a weekend of Argentinians, Aussies and Pakistanis to keep me occupied so I'm not that fussed what happens over the next couple of days.

I recommend doing what I just did, drink vodka and coke and eat pizza and chips and watch Columbo with a like minded bird (or boird as Columbo would say), nice.
