Graphicians / Designer searched !!

hi folk!
we are working on a bigger "shoot em up" scrolling game project... this project is just started and its mainly a just for fun hobby project without any comercial interess!

i am lucky to know someone on the top and so we are still in contact with a company for marketing/distribution this project if the result is good enough and when we have luck and all works fine as we want...! So there may be a interested company for our project but not absolutely sure yet... they are just only interested atm...

however, if this game will be released as "little comercial" game or if all fails, as freeware... we are looking for some very good professional graphicians with a lot experience in game graphics and design!!

We think the best would be to have only cool rendered graphic elements instead painting graphics!? (maybe we could merge painted and rendered stuff, if the quality is good enough)

However, if you think you are good enough for this, please drop us some lines abour your person, experience and if possible some screenshots of your work... (would be great if you can send some example graphics for shoot em up scrolling game!)

Germans are very welcome, in fact of the comunication, as we are from germany! The main priority for us, is the quality of your work ;-)

@merkur - It may benefit you to know, as requests for help are common, that without a showreel or established reputation you will not get the 'very good professional' artists you seek.

You may very well be good enough for the top guys to want to join you, but unless you show them that they will just ignore the post as yet another newbie wanting professionals to work for free on their pipedream.

you should be asleep Becky, so should I. Difference is my kids'll wake me up at 7am sigh.

Nobody pays me to wake up in the morning at the moment, although i've got a beautifuly crafted letter to a former boss saying, "oiy you nothern git, I want to come back" sitting on the coffee table waiting for a stamp. Oh yes, and the one to my solicitor which is supposed to be getting the payout I supposedly should be living on by now.

It's a wierd thing, have somebody crash their car into you at high speed and nearly die and you sit there festering until your better without any money or income, then when you eventually return to work and have money again the compensation cheque arrives.

I presume this wasn't on a race track then?

we want to collect all possible and interested graphicians while taking a preselection of their examples and some lines about their person and where they are from...

when we have done something like an internally "not public" example/preview, we will contact this people, and this people will get ofcourse all needed infos...

as i wrote before, there is someone on the top of a game marketing/distribution company and they are very interested in this atm! (i think if our project would be to bad, this company would not be interested in any part!?)

So let us hope, that they are still interested when this project is complete finish in some month (all coding, graphics, design, music, 3d rendered scenes, vocals and so on... ;)

Nope, I had a road crash back in March. I was stationary and i'm 100% in the clear on this one, there was nothing I could do to avoid it either.

If the very top man interested in your game has the same information we do he's just being curtious - but like us - he gets this all the time.

As I mentioned earlier you've no reputation so the guys here are going to want to see what you can do before they sign up with you. You might be brilliant, but you might also be yet another pipedream plotter.

yes you are right... i havent released any public blitz related stuff... btw, i am not only coding in blitz! ;-) but be sure, you will hear and see some more infos in future...

maybe someone of you can make your own image of our work and the actual project...!? ;-)

Btw, has someone some free TileSets and graphics for a nice shoot em up game - just only for having some testing graphics, we replace in final version? thanks
