Is anyone interested in doing some vocal sfx?

Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/Is anyone interested in doing some vocal sfx?

For my gauntlet remake I was hoping to have some 'speech' / 'vocal' sound effects (not just screams etc but rather a few separate lines of dialog here and there - which kind of rules out purchasing any sound effect cds as I need specific sentences)

Would any people be interested in doing some fairly basic voice acting. I am after 4 different player voices, 1 of which is female, each with about 5-6 different sentences where each is of anywhere from 1 word to 5 words in length?

These sound effects would be for when a player's special attack is activated and when a player is near death.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I'll help out if I can, might be good to know exactly what you want.

(I don't have a professional quality mic or anything so it might not be the best quality).

Okay - I will spell out in more detail what I am after, if you do wish to make some of these sound effects feel free to modify/alter the sentences if you think it sounds too corny or could be expressed better:

Sentences when character activates 'power' attack mode

Warrior/Barbarian - "Carnage", "Blood Bath", "Bring it on"

Mage - "Feel my power!", "None can stand against me now",

Templar (female) - "Fear My Wrath", "My Heart is Pure"

Elf - "My Aim Is Sure", "My Bow Is Ready"

Sentences when player is nearing death:

Warrior / Barbarian - "I'm bleeding...badly", "Must eat soon"

Mage - "My time is short", "I can see my end"

Templar / Valkyrie (female) - "Death holds no fear", "No sacrifice is too great"

Elf - "I'm too young to die", "My death approaches"

As I said above - if you are willing to make some voice sound effects feel free to change the dialog itself if you can think of better dialog.

If you want a swiss accent, let me know :)

Hi jfk, I'd be interested in hearing any of these with a Swiss accent.

You should talk to Jeremy Alessi, he makes awesome voice overs.
