100% cpu load

whenever i run a blitz-program under linux the cpu load increases to 100%. while the same program under windows does not require 100% but maybe only 40%. does anyone else experience this as well?

strange thing: the IDE is written in Max but it isn't using 100%..[?] might have to do with being an gui-only app?

The code for Linux is not exactly optimised in some places.

I expect that these issues will be fixed as time goes on.

i made the changes. scarry! rebuilding the modules creates an error [something with string-blah-blah]. nevertheless the program is build and 'rockout' is down to about 40% cpu load. [IDE idle=+- 3%].

i'm running Ubuntu on my laptop now. on this laptop, if the cpu-load remains 100%, a cooling-fan kicks in which makes quite some noise. so this tweak is quite usefull! thx
