I like it. Sounds like something that might have been in Leander (old Amiga game with great music BTW ;) ).

I've run it through Reason 3.0's mastering suite. Expanded the stereo image and boosted EQ around 3Khz slightly. Few other tweaks to get the volume level up too.

Have a listen to the 30MB WAV (sorry, recompression to MP3 would sound bad because it was already compressed) here.

If you prefer the boosted version (depends on your ears, I guess) then send me the original wav and I'll send you back the boosted wav, available for you to compress to mp3 or ogg or whatever.

Can I ask what software you used to compose the tune?

I use Cubase SL2.0 and my main instrument is a Korg Triton Extreme synth workstation, all of the instruments are played by myself no fruity loopies here =)

I'm downloading the modified wav atm and look forward to comparing it.

I've listened to the track a few times now and I'm still liking it. Would certainly like to hear more of your work.

shambler, fascinating theme. very nice. both cool and sweet. Some very simple almost pentatonic patterns, arranged to something new and really great. You know all the great meoldies are based on simple patterns.

Yes, you can! But it'd be awkward for someone to stumble upon the same track in two totally unrelated projects. I make these for fun, use them however you'd like. I know someone that used some of them for a birthday party CD, and everyone loved it.

So, yes, you can use them however you'd like, but I'd like a link or "www.noenemies.com" mentioned somewhere in the credits, or somewhere in the game.

You can use the ones that I'm using, it'll just be awkward...so stay away from it if you'd like...

@vinylpusher,I just listened to the altered track and I like it! It definitely seems to have more presence than the original.

I was born with a hearing defect in one ear which basically means theres a gap of frequencies that I just can't hear too well in that ear, I am always wondering if I am giving something too much treble boost for normal ears -.-

I might dig out some more music for people to hear, although I am soooo critical of what I write that I seldom deem something good enough...and I'm very picky about what music I listen too aswell lol

I am listening to Michael Andrews atm who wrote the music to Donnie Darko...love it but most tracks are only 1-2 mins long =/
