...by using superior hardware - keyboard this time:

[which actually seems better than most equivalent "innovations"]

Cheapish too, 65.90 euros here in Finland.

Needs a bigger picture. Actually I prefer the Nostromo as it fits the hand naturally and it's programmable altho' I wish it had a Shift function to double the number of keys.

I don't think it'll help me play as well as...

The Wolf Claw II ?

haha, nice.

:O)

I think none of these keyboards would help me playing any better as i still steer fps games in a very different way, no wasd.

As for the main keys i use for example (qwertz-layout):

lmb (left mouse button): forward
rmb: backward
space: action
v: fire
c: jump
x: duck
y: walking
b: second fire
g: reload
s: strafe left
d: strafe right
...

This for sure is not perfect in terms of fast accessability and i once rememberd entering an unreal2004 multiplayermap on a japanese server. Man i never died this fast and so often again. :O) Anyway for single player games it's good enough.

Greetings,

taumel

that sounds horrible! (your key config)

Nah it's not this bad! :O)

Give me QAOP any day :)

what the hell Game Boy, isn't that spectrum controls for like horrace goes skiing or somwthing?

I'd probably get one if they actually sold them here. None of the local computer shops seem to have any.

I like the LCD display. Very nice.

I don't really need that stuff though...

I love 8-button mouses :D

I worked for an Apricot Computers outlet back in the early 90's and some of their keyboards had LCD displays back then... just can't remember what they were for - sending messages across a LAN, I think.

It was a common keyboard control configuration used in the good ol' days. How about AZ<>?

The LCD display is totally useless though. I can't think of anything that'll kill you faster than taking your eyes off a colour screen to squint (and re focus) at a mono strip of lcd at least 12" away...

True. That's why jet planes have HUDs. :)
