Anyone know of a good website builder with templates? Even if it's a trial version. Nvu did have templates but included none. I need something I can quickly build a site from 'cos my web design skills are practically non-existant.
Good sitebuilder with templates?
Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/Good sitebuilder with templates? While you're waiting for an answer to your question specifically, I'll take the time to reaffirm that Nvu does in fact rock, and you will find a template to use with it at http://freesitetemplates.com
From one non-existant web-design skill person to another. :o)

thanks. what format templates should I be looking for on that site, or will any work? I have nvu installed but it doesn't indicate the file extension of it's templates.
This file is not intended to be viewed directly using a web browser.
That made me laugh.
html is html - it doesn't matter what you use to edit it. Dreamweaver templates are slightly different as they contiain Dreamweaver specific tags (they're actually just specially formatted html comments) that give you extra features specific to dreamweaver. Basically just go through there and pick something you like - it'll work.
try notepad. It works better than any of these things and makes the tightest, smallest, files.
He wants to get a website up with a minimum of thought and a minimum of creative expenditure. If he could get by without a website at all, I'm sure he wouldn't bother. It's a neccessary evil.
In that context, Notepad is not appropriate, no matter what its lauded minimalist benefits are.

www.subdreamer.com
Try subdreamer light. You'll need PHP+MySQL hosting to get it working, but it is an exceptionally good CMS. I use it for my site www.stefanholmes.com
Good hosting need only cost you $5/month or less.

Magazines may call the rock the next arnold, but it's clearly you.
Thanks for the suggestions, will check 'em out. only the template ones those. I'd rather take on the rock and arnold together than code it in notepad.
