Anyone seen hide or hair of Surreal? No posts from him on his blitzplay board and I'm wanting the latest version of BPP.
Surreal / BlitzPlay Pro
Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/Surreal / BlitzPlay Pro He used to be on IRC now and then, but I haven't been on IRC much myself lately. You've tried emailing him?
blitzplay@...
blitzplay@...
THAT... would be FAR too easy. :)
I've never really had a lot of luck emailing him but I'll give it a shot.

I emailed him about a month ago and he responded remarkably quickly. I'd suggest email is the best way to get a hold of him.
As far as the current status of BlitzPlay, he had this to say:
As it turns out I am indeed quite busy these days.. and have so many things that I wanted to do with BlitzPlay that I sort of have a hard time picking something to start with! That and I've found that since I've started my job in the new year, I barely have the time to do much except work and do the family man bit.. and what time I do get I tend to like to relax if at all possible.
That being said, I don't want to say the project is dead.. just perhaps in stasis, until I am able to finish off my most pressing tasks, and can tackle my "on the side" coding projects with renewed vigor :)
Of course I have still been answering support emails and trying to help out if any (few) bugs have been found.. I just haven't been keeping up on the member board nearly as much as I should be.
And tell anyone to send me an email if they have any further concerns.. If it's a really important bug fix, or a truly useful (to more than one person sorta thing) feature add on.. I'll consider that top priority in my next BP work.
