Improve my logo

I like the design, but the lettering isn't so good. Does anyone want to improve this?

hey.. it looks kinda "valve-like".. :p

anyways; is there one of the words you emphasize?
I was thinking you can make that word bold and big, and the other smaller and thinner..
like; LEADwerks (with that wheel around too)

just a thought.. I personally think it's fairly good as it is.. you just need that final touch..
but then again I kinda like the slick, minimalistic logos..

I made this long before Valve came out with their "source" logo. I just want all capital letters, but with a little better lettering.

well.. I did mean you could still have the letters capital; just to make them smaller... it was just an idea though..

It's simple and pretty. I think it's good as it is.

"Rob Cummings" ("BloodLocust") does logo work.

the s and the k are too close to the gear wheel,
give it a larger radius

I like the basic idea and design - kerning needs adjustments but that's small issue.

I like it as is.

I'd move the R closer to the K in 'werks'. Other than that it's fine as far as I'm concerned.

The A looks a little close to the D as well. Maybe move it left a pixel or 2?

Start by fixing the typo.

If you look at pro web sites, they use a lot of fonts that aren't available in MS Word or PSP. I don't like any of the basic fonts, and I think they look too "typewriter" for a logo.

Examples of good-looking lettering:

That just looks like bog-standard Arial or Verdanna to me, Halo. Very commonly used fonts.

I dunno, something about regular fonts looks different.
