I cannot reply to your email. I am getting a weird "destination not valid within DNS" error when I try to reply to it.

I received an email today from Mike, nothing strange about that. But, according to the header it was sent on Feb 5th 2005!
Don't think I've ever known an email with such a long delay before. It can't have been floating around the web for that long surely?

That explains the email I got. I didn't think to look at the date, but it was a question about my shadow system which didn't make any sense. He wanted to know when he was gonna get "the version with the bugfix" and I had no idea what the hell he was talking about.
The email however is dated 10/27/2004, so I guess my email from him got delayed longer than yours. :-)

Yeah I got an email from him today - however I think he just got round to answering mine though.
..same with me..I did receive email yesterday, but it was respond from question I askend before 2-3 months...weirdd..
That's how halloween stories start.
I turning red here... allrighty, here's the full embarrassing story:
I had trouble popping my ****@caffeineoverdose.net emails, got timeouts and email server connection problems, so I decided to install Thunderbird and import my emails and settings from Eudora I had been using. Importing went well expect that for some reason TB re-sent every email I had in one particular folder - so some of you (and hell of lot other ppl) got emails that seemed bit strange and were quite old too often (most didn't notice the date and just replied WTF :)). And I still got timeouts...
But the email SHOULD work now properly - reason seemed to be that I had two SMPT servers, one for my ISP and ISP email accounts and one for my own domain email accounts... TB suggested that one is enough and I deleted the domain related SMTP and now use my ISP SMTP server to send my domain emails... seems to have solved the issue, hopefully.
But it was also nice chance to say hello's with ppl (Blitz and other) I have not been emailing for some time :)
