OK, so I've got this Aerial Antics MP demo up and running. Works great on my Desktop and Laptop. Then I've got an older 850MHz Athlon system which runs pretty slow ... not sure why it's so slow. Anyway, this demo worked perfectly on it 2 days ago. Now for some reason the graphics run about 1 frame every 30 seconds ... yet the logic seems to be running spot on. I can move the player around no problems and see it working on my other machines. I can also hear all the sound effects etc...
The Aerial Antics Demo that I just did up a week ago still runs fine on this old system and it's built with the same version of Blitz, shadow system, everything. I cannot for the life of me figure out why the graphics won't refresh at a normal rate. I've tried full screen and windowed mode. It works fine on my laptop and desktop still and as I said even the regular AA demo among other games run fine on the slow PC. What the heck could I have done that would cause this problem?
I have 3 3D sounds, I added some new particle effects that work fine on even my laptop which has an old 16MB GFX card meanwhile the slow desktop PC has an Nvidia 5200FX card with 78.01 drivers installed ... that seem to run normal AA just fine. That's about the only change I can think of since it worked ... some new sounds and some particles both of which work fine on my other PC's. I don't think there are any memory leaks ... but perhaps that's an issue.
