This is the first time I have ever seen music of a professional quality offered to indy developers. It's really very good, and could be used in a AAA game as is.

Ummm, it doesn't make any sense at all that buying 20 tracks is MORE expensive than twice the cost of 10 tracks. If anything it should be cheaper (say, 7 pounds). Until that gets rectified I'm holding off ;]

I think you should charge a lot more, like $30 a song. People who need it will buy it, and people who don't will complain no matter how cheap it is.

I really dont mind doing the packs for this price at the moment. This project is done out of real passion, and as i write music for my main day job, it is okay for me to release packs at this price. Im just real glad they are being received well by people (well by the most!)

By the way.. your products are awesome. I will be getting your new version of cart shop soon

At the moment, we are extreemly productive and lots more packs are planned. Production wise we have a few soundpacks on the go at one time, and a second Fantasy Theme Pack will be launched later today - which will feature exntesive Themes, and battle music

Halo, read the first part of my sentence too, will you? Geez. The point was that buying the whole set in one go costs more than buying half the set twice. That doesn't make any sense.

Raise the price of the 'lesser' sets or lower the price of the full set, I don't care, but as it stands it's nonsensical.

THe sense of it is, is that the 20 track pack contains more of the Theme/Intro type music, which are longer tracks, and much more musical and take more time to produce- so its not the case of how many tracks, and that you could purchae 2 lots of 10, it doesnt work that way.

The extra cost if you like aer for the Theme based tracks.

WHat i dont understand here anyways is this Vanilla.

Whether you get the 10, 15, or 20 pack - realise how much of a bargain you are getting. There is NO WHERE you could get music of this quality from a signed producer at such a rediculously low price. Remember im not an amateur, im a signed professional music producer signed to lots of record labels in the uk and abroad.

Do you know how much time goes into making these packs.

As i say, by day i am a pro musician. If you were to come to me and ask for a music package like this to be custom made, i would charge in the thousands.

THis is why people must realise - that i charge a low price becaue its not a huge money making concern for me - its done out of love and passion for my game making interests

And why you keep going on about the price totally edludes and deflates me really

yertari - I think your music is well done and would really consider buying it for my project when I am ready. It is very professional. I wrote 2 commercial video games years ago and I remember how much we paid our audio guy to do 10 songs. As I recall, it ended up being way over $10,000.

Don't be too hard on Vanilla. I don't think he's being critical of your work or the price of the product. He's really just trying to make sense of your marketing scheme.

My main pc music sequencer that i use is a program called Logic audio. This program for you who dont know about comnputer music, allows me to record the music in - the keyboard is linked to the computer and this program handles recording the notes i play in - and a lot more than that!

Also.. i have lots of outboard studio hardware that i use too

As I stated on your forums, yertari, I think the tunes are exceptional quality and as I stated for the RPG music pack the tunes are rediculously cheap. So don't get your knickers in a knot over something I didn't understand, OK? =] I didn't know the large pack had that extra/more specialised theme music...

And yes, I do understand the length of time it takes to create truly decent music. Anyone can slap a 4/4 beat and some notes down and pass it off as electronica, but only the deicated and passionate electro musos can make tunes of this consistant quality.

Im working flat out on this fantasy theme pack - i dont think there has ever been a pack put together that features two full towns in one - with all the trimmings that we put in the sci fi pack too - i.e. music, and skies. Oh yes.. the skies are something special too and made exclusively for this pack.
