Problems Installing

Hi all...

I just tried to install Blitz3D to my new computer and I'm having problems....

When I run blitz3d, I get an error:

"Unable to open linker.dll".

I went to My Computer, clicked on properties, and added the following to the environment:

blitzpath = c:\program files\blitz3d

and to the PATH, I added C:\program files\blitz3d\bin

I restarted the computer and still, the same error.

Can someone help me out?

Um, you need your original install file, plus the update file. It seems you just copied your update file instead, which obviously can't udpate nothing.

Yup... that was it. I had to reinstall off the CD first.

BTW, while we are sort of on the topic, can you tell me what version the current linker is? Mine is 1.64.. is that correct?
