Hi,
I'm really a noob with 3ds max, so I hope someone can push me in the right direction. I use 3ds max 6 with the famous onigirl pipeline.
I need part of my mesh transparent, so I did the following in MAX:
*applied a blitz-brush, assigned a texture, set properties to vertex color
*converted to editable mesh
*selected some vertices
*set alpha for those vertices to 30% (in the default parameter rollout->"Surface properties"-Section)
*exported to .b3d (including the VertexColor-Option)
Blitz:
Loaded my mesh with LoadMesh, set a EntityFX 1+2 - but I got no vertex alpha.
What could I've done wrong?
