Joysticks

Does the OSX joystick support work?
I've installed a HID driver for the xbox gamepad and it all works fine in system preferences (even analog buttons) yet bmax reports no joystick found.
Gamepad companion finds the joystick and identifies it correctly.
I tested the gamepad using a free testing program from GarageGames and it worked fine, seems its just bmax that can't see it.

Yeah I've had the same experience. Tried several joysticks and few drivers. Got the test software to see the joystick but didn't work in Max or on another commercial game I had.
