Blitz3D Forums/Blitz3D Beginners Area/After advice but do you have the answers

Dear Fellow users

I am seeking SCREAM3D english version
and irrlicht.bb or decls for blitz3d to enhance my game engine.

I am getting good results i sat down and coded and it is starting to look good,
I am thinking of adding irrlict or cipher maybe.Possible physics and particle engine.

their has been a few things worrying tho.

Out of the 2 modeling products what is the best

1)Gamespace
2)SoftImage XSI Foundation

Is B3d multiserver capable?
Whats the best physics engine to use thats really stable?

OpenGL or DX9 I see no difference

I guess xsi is better. And i think irrlicht or cipher is not a thing one would simply "add", but you can try.

How about to show us some screenies of what you've got so far?

Hmm.. only a guess, but are you quite new to programming? Might be an idea to start at a lower level. If you can grasp Blitz3d, which is based on DX7, then you're doing well. Directx7 is still very powerful.

As far as modelling packages, your best bet is to go with the one you are most comfortable with, but you should also look at the different art paths available to you. Getting your media into any engine is no small task.

XSI of course. GameSpace is quite lightweight compared to XSI. But GS is also cheaper (300 vs 500 US$) and has built-in .B3D export. TrueSpace has also horrible GUI, or at least used to have.
