If an app has different colors/textures, then they're prolly not really windows buttons but custom-made buttons. You can do that yourself by making your own buttons using a canvas..

been a while since i used delphi, but seem to remember options in that to change colours at least, and it gave the option to make 'picture buttons'.
Maybe if i get real bored ill do that.
