Orion 7 - Sneak Peek

Its been a while since ive posted, but ive been busy, Working on a game called Orion 7. It will be like SuperStar Dust (Amiga/PC-Team17) which is like asteriods but with big bosses, enemies, powerups, storyline and other cool stuff.

Anywho heres a pic, Demo be out in a week or two.

Looks nice - what is it, B3D using Sprites for pseudo-2D?

I'm almost convinced that the original Superstardust graphics were made by wrapping tin foil around a rock and taking photos of it!

It looks pretty nice so far. The one concern I had with Super Stardust was that it was basically Asteroids with flashy graphics thrown at it, so it seemed to be mostly `show` and no real added depth/content. I hope you will be able to find some ways to innovate and add some new aspects to the gameplay.

I loved Super stardust, the tunnel sequence blew me away back then. There will be more enemies to beat in this game and also mini games. OOOOooo....

Me too. Amazing at the time. Glad to hear you are doing a Super Stardust - style game. The Amiga classic is one hell of a polished Asteroids clone.
