Some models

an indoor set im working on, some of the textures are
placeholders and ill revisit them later but so far ive
done every texture on my own from scratch. wich for me was
a big deal. also im not a good modeller, but like the
textures, these models for me, are pretty good.

The set is inspired by WoW syle geometry
and was created using Anim8or, Lithunwrap, and PsP8.0

So far the set has
2 chairs, 3 candles, 9 books open, 9 books Closed, 2
bookcases, 2 tables, 4 beakers, 4 jugs, 4 shelves, 2 beds
1 dresser, 2 rugs, segmented railing, railing corner post,
scroll closed, scroll open wide, scroll open and bent
and 3 wooden crates

For this pack ive studied Blizzard art, in worlds of
warcraft, alot of the stuff in there seems to have
patterns made from brush strokes, and smudge tools. So
ive been doing alot of that. in Psp v8.0 using brushes
with a 75% opaque settings or less and burning the marks
in so to speak.


For alot of the wood i made a black border around a brown
square, then smudged black lines though the brown.. when
i was happy with the primary lines, i then ran a few psp
filters over it to enhance the wood like grain and add
highlights/shadows.. in some cases i manually added
random shading. ect


I also found if you make a custom brush shape, with just
skattered greyscale dots, you can drag that across your
wood to get the fine grain in manually.


Heres another shot.. large image, sorry. I added some
chimneys, a barrel, a cup, some hay piles ect.

Really nice texturing style... looks very good in it's on kind of way.

i like them too, looks like youve got a unique style there.

I really like these. Are they for the same project as the models shown in this post. If so it's really got a style of it's own.

yes it is for that project. the old shots of the characters arent up anymore.



Made some walls, floor,stairs, and doorway.
all segmented so they can be arranged in any

RifRaf never underestimate yourself, dude! Your modeling and texturing for the objects and characters is awesome! I love the style!!

The only reason my freeware 3D game has never been finished is because I could never find somebody with your skills & talent willing to work for free.

thanks again!. im whipping up a program to let you peice together all these segment parts into one model, and export easily with snap to grid and lightmapping.

Very nice style :D It kinda looks like what one of the old zelda games would look like remade in 3d.

I am actually. im making an editor that uses snap to grid, all the models are made to a specific scale so they place together very well, the editor will allow saving data file with drop information or exporting the whole scene as one B3D model

ill have more shots tomorrow when i get a bit more time.

ill be working hard to get enough model peices in here that you could virtually make 1000s or more buildings from the pack, including outdoor objects such as fences, grass, cemetaries, trees, hills, ect.

I love those models + textures, very consistent style. :-D
