Fortnightly Blitz Art Compo #1

Well I dunno why the weekly compo's vanished but well now is a good a time as any to start it up again.

- All entries must be created after the compo start date.
- Only 1 entry per user.
- Judges decision is final.
- Winner becomes judge and chooses compeittion type for next fortnight.
- Competition will last 2 weeks from starting date.
- All entries must be submitted before the deadline.
- Judge can't submit entry into own competition.

Sprite a 2d animated platform characters walk cycle. The platform character can be from any genre and style, as long as it is a 2d animated sprite.
The sprite can be either 32 x 32 or 64 x 64.

Hey this I can do :)

is it allowed to render a 3d characters walk cycle to a series of images?

The entry should be "sprited", generaly to "sprite" something means to draw it pixel by pixel. However, a "sprite" can be any 2d image.

I'll say yeah you can do what you mention, but an entry that has clearly been hand drawn will stand a better chance of winning.

these might not be allowed, as i dragged them off my amiga a while ago, but i have only JUST finished cleaning them up today ,(in my defence your honour)

Tiler you can pick the next compo theme/art style/format/etc (so can be anything 2d/3d/painting/etc), if u can use the same "template" for the compo post it would be good.
