They showed the guy playing for all of five seconds, and the rest was him walking about talking about how awesome it is to pwn people. Amusing, but I wanted to see a video like this Halo video I saw where the guy WOULD NOT DIE. :-)

The whole '1337' technique of conversation is a bit annoying really.. 'pwn'' this or that 'roxorz' and what not...

I really enjoy the entire sentence spelled in leet... Wait a min, no I dont...

I am always amazed how easier it is to simply spell something correctly and the amount of time people waste on coming up with replacement letters for your every day ones, and then how accomplished they feel about themselves when it's time to show off their new skill of speaking/typing in '1337'.

Actually it simply means "own", incorrectly spelled on purpose. Pretty cool, eh. no? Yeah you're right it sucks.
You know pretty soon the elite will be the ones who spell correctly (I'll certainly not be part of it, but that's not on purpose...).

Ya know, I used to try and chalk it up to laziness (mentally) when they would type things like "yo, how R j0?"
but then I realized that it usually takes more time to type out half the things they type anyhow...

I used to map, snappy comebacks and insults to extra buttons on my gamepad. ;)

But, nothing about how much I roxors!

I don't know, I seem to have gotten by without ever seeing alot of leetspeak. But then I don't play many online-capable games. I've considered it quite a few times, but never have, yet.

Hmm, this fact may make it hard for me to actually produce online games, perhaps.
