Compile Error : Mandrake 10.1

The Error message I get is :

22:X11/Xlib.h:No Such File or Directory

I'm trying it on debug build. It gives the same error on quick build and Normal build.

Just to let you know I just installed Mandrake 10.1. Never done it before or even used Linux so I have no clue as to what I'm doing.

Have you installed a development pack (g++ and the likes)?
(I'm just guessing Mandrake ships with some sort..)

I'm purdy sure Mandrake 10.1 (download version) doesn't have Xlib anywhere, but at least PowerPack does... Dunno bout the rest..
oh, if someone finds it on Mandrake 10.1 dl version, please speak up, coz i couldnt find it!!!

I had the same problem when building modules: "X11/Xlib.h:No Such File or Directory".
Installing xorg-X11-devel-* package solved it.

you could try http://www.rpmseek.com if you don't have the package in your distro.
