Making a video from a game

Is there a program that will make a movie of what is happening on my computer? I wanted to make a trailer of my game but I don't know how to... any ideas?

Get a video card with a TV out then capture the video to a nice Digital Video Recorder. Burn a DVD from that, then use a nice video editor like Adobe Premier to cut I final demo.

search for a program called FRAPS. It will let you record a game to an .avi

FRAPS2 is far better. Unfortunately it isn't free.

maybe you can do something with waypoints and then compile as EXE and post one small exe instead of AVI ??

With blitz, you cant be sure itl be smaller :P

Fraps is nice but the downside is that your video is, at best, a quarter of the original framerate - jerky snippets are OK for the web, but I wouldn't want to give this to anyone as a serious demo of my work.
