Simple ODE?

I can't figure out ODE at all. I looked at that jeep demo in the ODE thread, and that's the exact mesh I want to use. But when I take that demo and replace the level mesh with a mesh of my own (a terrain mesh - not a BlitzTerrain), the car doesn't even bother going over the hills.

All I really need to do is get the car to go over the hills, but I can't figure out how since I don't understand ODE at all.

hmmm... I can't help at all wen it comes to ODE... but I'm a Tokamak user... have you tried that? I'm 16 and I found it quite easy... I still don't 100% get joints.. but I still find it quite fast and easy... definatley worth a look :)
