I've heard of the ODE Physics Engine/Wrapper, and a Wrapper tutorial in the Tutorials section, but what is a "Wrapper?"
Wrapper
Blitz3D Forums/Blitz3D Beginners Area/Wrapper Eminem?
It's something you get lollies out of :)
Seriously though, it is generally a set of commands/functions that provide an interface to the underlying system, which in this instance is the ODE Physics Engine.
Ross, White men can't rap :)

They can't jump apparently either. Odd that :D
Rap sucks.....same with new music... go listen to some Pink Floyd/Foriegnor/ACDC/Queen/Led Zep/The Who music. Classic rock rules!
Well, I got a relatively thorough answer...
Basically, Blitz is a square hole, and the dll is a round peg. So in order to use the two together you need something to make the commands in the dll avaliable in blitz, thats what the wrapper does.
no theduck sucks
huh?
And why exactly did you post that, Clarks?

Probably to do with that. Though, i agree with the duck :o) Like Eminem though ^_^ (used too)
Floyd, Zep and the Who I'd agree with... Eminem is a brilliant lyricist regardless if you like the style of music or not.
Rob, can u email me, or give me your email address please?

Your'e joking right?

Ross: You can contact me through my website.
TheDuck: No. The lyrics to Stan for example are stunning. The tune isn't bad either because it's Dido's 'Thankyou' sampled so generally pretty palettable.
I'm not a fan of 'Rap' music per-se however, Rage against the Machine, Sensor, Us3 etc are damn fine bands. And when it comes down to it's all about the individual track rather than the genre.

Stan is an excellent song.
In fact, I just ordered the Marshall Mathers LP CD for my wifes birthday gift...

Exactly. Yep.

Couldn't agree more.
I don't undersand how anyone could suggest a whole genre of music 'sucks' while another 'rules' all based on an incredibly tiny number of examples.
I like most of Eminem's stuff, though I dont really listen to rap. I find his work intelligent and emotive, plus very tongue-in-cheek and enjoyable.

Anyway.....

So a wrapper is a hammer?
MC Hammer?

Can't touch this!
I touched it... but now I have a greasy smear on my monitor. If only I hadn't taken the protective wrapper off ;-)
