Create sound?

I am thinking of buying a sound generator to use for my games. So does anyone have any recamondations?

So I take it from lack of responce I will have to write my own?

All rthe sound generator programs i've had have been not sound genrating programs. Which sucked :) I did have one though that let you choose an instrument and play/position notes on a music scale thingy. I'll try and remember the name of it. It was quite handy. Cool Edit Pro is pretty decent too. Let you take a sound bite and create notes from it and compose a tune :o)
