Tool to convert an animated .GIF to AnimImage?

I need a freeware/shareware tool that reads an animated .GIF, takes it apart and stores the result as an Anim for use with LoadAnimImage()

GameMaker does that. the lite product is a free still (i think). you add a sprite, load it in as an animated GIF, and then Save it as a strip.

Its nor much good for making Gifs though as they export unlooped.


Not that id ever consider using GM for making games.
