Well I was responsible for the first attempt. The project got boring very quickly and pretty redundant for my needs.
I have been toying with the idea of writing a Basic->Java bytecode compiler (not neccesarily blitz basic) as I can think of a few useful applications for such a beast. I just which I could find my original blitz tokeniser and (early) parser.
