I'm looking for a 2D artist/illustrator to complete a series of 10-15 illustrations for a new version of our game 'Wonderland'. These would be used as background for "story" screens at certain stages of the game. Payment would be a one-time flat fee per illustration, work would need to be completed by the middle of January.
My main concern would be to find an artist with a style that fits with the sweet (some might say sugary) world of Wonderland. To get an idea of what the characters and in-game style looks like, please peek at http://www.midnightsynergy.com/returntowonderland
For a shot of the two main characters, Stinky and Loof, see
As you can see, a comic-book or even children's book style might be a good fit. I'm thinking of colour illustrations, but I'd also consider stylized b/w art.
If you might be interested (or know someone would might be), please contact me at infos"(ye old 'at' symbol)"midnightsynergy.com. Please include a link to a portfolio of some of your previous work, as well as an idea of what your rate would be.
In fact, if you want to do a quick pencil drawing of, say, Loof (the little one) and send that along that would be great (but obviously not necessary). Heck, you can even enter it in our art competition at http://www.midnightsynergy.com/comp/0401 while you're at it. ;)
Thanks in advance,
Patrick
