Windows XP help

When you put a CD in or a pen drive in it pops up the window to ask what you want to do with this device... any way of stopping this?

select the thing that you want it to do and click "Always use this action" (or something like that, dont exactly remember what it says...)

or disable the autoplay for this type of device

There doesn't seem to be a way of disabling devices you've never plugged in.

And I want it to do 'nothing' not one of the options it gives me so the Always use the Action tick box is not what I want.

Actually... I tell lies there is a do nothing option.
