I'have just started to make my first 3D game... It's an Action/RPG made with Blitz3D !

Very good Lanscape shape and skybox. What is it, a heightmap terrain or a mesh? (probably try the free FLE , makes texturing of a terrain easier).

Good start. Work on the textures I'd say. Prevent the repetition of tiles look. Characters look kind of stiff. But all in all this is a very nice world design.

Oh yes, for animated water textures take a look at "textureWobbler" in the toolbox section.
