i've always thought the .obj spec was polygonal. was just reading that it supports curves and surfaces. rather than load up every open-source or demo 3D app i can find, does anyone know of any 3D software that exports an .obj file containing curve/surface data (instead of polygonal data)? thanks for any help.

there was a tool floating around the nebula device forums
a few years ago that converted .obj to .x.
