Milkshape Problems

When I create many faces in between vertices in Milkshape, the faces appear black and white, instead of just pure white, and then when I extrude them, they don't become hole. Is anyone else experiencing this problem and does anyone know how to fix it?

You have to create faces by clicking vertices in counter-clockwise order -- otherwise you'll create them pointing the other way. Turn off backface culling in your 3D view to see what you've been doing.

also you can use reverse vertex order.
