DirectX9 SDK + BB3D = : (

Beware!! In case you haven't already heard the Direct X 9 SDK is not compatible with BlitzBasic 3D and probably BB+ as well. As soon as you install it you will get Runtime Errors all over the place like it's cool.

I don't know who to be mad at, the BB team or Microsoft. Probably Microsoft.

Then again it would be nice, if BB3D had plans to make it compliant with the SDK installed.

I have heard of a number of other people having Direct X 9 and DX9 SDK related programs conflicting with a number of programs and games.

Well, I have DX9 SDK installed here, and both Blitz3D and BlitzPlus. Never had any problem.

Hmmmm...maybe your pc knows something mine doesn't.
Anyway, I fixed the problem. Backed up my data and restored my pc. Not Windows Restore, that didn't work. Nope, full restore. Oh well, it only took 15 minutes.

The SDK shouldn't have anything to do with whether or not Blitz3D works. Check your drivers.

Yeah, I just updated my graphics drivers, and it works fine now. Ha ha. It's a new pc. Sniff. Oh well. I got a clean out of it anyway.
