Printing Woes

I am having great trouble printing code from BlitzPlus to my Brother HL-1850 (black and white) Laser Printer.

If I print directly from BlitzPlus, it prints the code in shades of grey corresponding to the code colours that are too light to read, and I can't see an option to print in black and white only.

As a workaround, I copied all the code I needed and pasted it as raw text into a WORD file. It looks ok on screen, but when I print it, no matter how I format it, it always prints in small text with a massive (half page) margin at the top of the page, and no margin at the bottom. This implies that there are some control codes in there or something that are going to the printer, but I am a bit clueless in this area.

Any suggestions?

Copy and paste it into a text file and print it from something like NotePad. I use a Brother HL-1440 laser
printer, and the code from BP prints out a uniform black
no matter what the syntax highlighting is -- if your printer options has something like "Improve grey printing" make sure that option is turned OFF.
