TT font failures

I tried loading a selection of True Type fonts into Blitz3D.
None returned a failure on load, but only about 1/4 would display (others defaulting to Arial).
Why can Blitz display some TT fonts, but not others?

Most of those non-loaders will load when their filenames directly correspond to their internal font names (ie, double-click on the font, check the font's name, rename the file that =precise= name, and then reload in Blitz).

No idea why, precisely, but that always seems to work for me.
