Unicode fonts, help!

Hi All,
Please, someone knows if the commands
"print" or "text" of blitz supports
unicode fonts?

I uses to work with protean. I configure my settings
using a unicode font, then protean displays in my code,
for example, a russian string, but when I compile & run,
the same strings appears as "??????? some text ???? ??????".

What could I do for print a russian text?
Please, could you help me with this?
