If anybody knows how to do this then please share. If you have a lib / code and want to sell it to me then I'd be happy to talk prices :)
Can you put a b3d app into a browser window?
Blitz3D Forums/Blitz3D Programming/Can you put a b3d app into a browser window? no, the only way is to manually resize your Blitz window on top of an empty HTML window, and then it only looks like it's a browser app :-)
Blitz can not run in a browser, since it's not a browser plugin based technology.

it would have to be an activex (COM) control for it to be easily fitted into IE...
... if i'm not mistaken, been a while since i've done any of that.

cygnus, do clients have to download any software for this to work? like a viewer plugin?
Thats still a huge 500k footprint with upx exes.

yes it requires an activex
I just tried it fine with no problems with Den Bros 4...
but i had problems with straightforward 2d stuff in a 2d window...
Give it a whirl is all i say... Seems like a dream come true....
{EDIT}
Okays after more testing it realy, realy doesnt like 2d graphics on my system. 3d seems to run. It also likes to restart the app on close....
This is a v useful idea, if only someone would implement it correctly :(
