Hi,
After the previous debate, I decided to email Planetside Software for some clarification.

Subject: Commercial License: Clarification of acceptable use
Hi,
I recently purchased a commercial license to use Terragen (04 April 2004) and I am distributing some images that were made with it here:
http://www.OctaneDigitalStudios.com Someone on a web forum has questioned whether I'm actually allowed to do this.
Look here:
http://www.blitzbasic.com/Community/posts.php?topic=35440 Now, I'm confused.
Can you clarify the situation?
If I've done something wrong, I will take the images down immediately.

Hi,
I'm very happy to say that, as you have registered your copy, you may do anything you wish with the output - this includes selling it directly (e.g. as downloadable textures) and indirectly (e.g. in a game).
You are also welcome to make the output of Terragen available free of charge if you so wish.
Thanks,
John.
Happy now?
Regards,
