Blitz Collisions not working in examples

I'm still having problems with collisions in Blitz, but I'm starting to believe that it's not my code at fault. I've been following the tutorials here:

If you run the battle004.bb demo, you'll be able to walk through all the scenary.. I'm sure this isn't correct. ^_~ I can't imagine this tutorial went through with entirely wrong code. It is simply that collisions don't work in Blitz 3d? I'm starting to wonder.

I'm using Blitz 1.87, and I've had this problem on two entirely different PCs (intel+xp, AMD+win2k).

Hey collisions work fine in B3D. In fact I tried the code and I could not walk thru ANY scenery!

Hmm, this is strage, I'm getting mixed results. Battle004.bb is deceptive because you start *inside* the castle mesh, so that's why you can walk through it - however in my code my castle doesn't seem to block the player.

Please try the battle003.bb code and let me know if you can walk through the fence.
