little island

I created at the moment a little GFX-Demo with anim water.
This is a early WIP version.

Nice, I like the rippled sand. You should try and get some 'haze' effect on the horizon by using a distance fog, this will make the water seem a bit more blurry at distance too. I think the water colour is quite nasty - it is marginally too green around the island, and should be a darker blue further away from the island

thanks @ all. The distance is so far away so i will take the fog into the area. Then i made a sun and lensflare into the screen. I made the island bigger and i put fishes into the water. Update comes soon !

so by the way...the palm-trees have many polys.
My syteme is stong like Athlon 1,8 GHz and ATI 9700pro.

so i have a new version from this little Project. The watertexture ist changed and i have a terain into it and 3 butterflys. The palm-tree is changed too.

Thats a good idea. So can i code it in B3D, to start the Demo in the Windows Systeme Manager ? Like the other screen anims in Windows ?

@ Jeroen: Yes the Screensaver is final right now.
The Demo is here. The Fullversion cost 6,99 Euro.
New is the birds on the sky and the butterflys on the island.

Installed demo.

Couple of problems

Demo selects default directory of Windows/system32...I changed this to DreamIsland.

Ran the demo but when I click the mouse or press a key the game just crashes.

@ Shambler: This is a Screensaver. You must install into right folder. Never change this folder. All Windows Screensaver stopt, wenn you move the mouse or hit any key.
I install this Screensaver to many PCs with no problems.
Also the problem is a bad GPU. You must have a min. 128 MB DDR-RAM and you have it. So this Screensaver stopt, when you move the mouse or hit any key. This is normal like all Screensavers. You understand ?

Oops thought it was a game too lol.
