These look nice but what do I need to unpack a .rar file? WinZip doesnt seem to do 'em.

Try Stuffit Expander. The demo version is supposed to be limited to 30 days (but isn't) and it can unpack almost everything, including rar archives.

Wait, my mistake, when I try to open it, it says it's an "unrecognized format". Maybe try a site like Download.com or something.
