Creating music

Hello...just wandering what kind of software you guys use to create music and sound fx. I really dont have any artistic talents so I would probably need some samples of some type. Also is there a way to get any type of music samples that would start me off?

Has royality free samples and sound Fx's. I'm crap at creating music, so i can't really help you any further :)

for music: Impulse Tracker 2 for the moment, and IT3 when it's done ..

Soundforge and Vegas 4.0 for sound-editing/layering/multitracking ..

Fruity Loops Producer 4 is what I use for some stuff, I also use a variety of Wave editing progs like Voyetra for instance, also I've got a few synth racks, some turntables, and a tracker.

Renoise.....HEHEHEHE www.renoise.com check it out it's better then the rest....It's like fasttracker 2 (almost a copy only a DX copy) and it supprts DSP effects... Witch is da bom....
