height of the tabs?...

Is the height of the tabs (on a tabber) linked to the desktop-font? I want to use a specific font in my app, but if I use a font that is larger/higher than the desktopfont, it deletes or overwrites the topline of the tabber. Is there any way around this problem? And is there a way to, once and for all, set the font for the entire app without setting it for each label in the GUI?

Allright - let me answer this myself, since noone else seems to do it :o) Apparently their height is fixed. I have been messsing around with windows-setup to test different font-settings, menubar-heights windowsbar-heights etc. and nothing seems to influence the tabs, which is good news, since it makes it so much easier to manage the GUI?
