I got a strong 'flash' of Shrek as the image started to unfold on screen (which I suppose is a big compliment !)
The strong detailing on the ground and scenery make the blankness of the sky a bit obvious (although I think I see a small planet... unless it's just a resilient spark from the torch.)
Whole image is very dark, so yeah, a daylight shot would be helpful.

A darker sky maybe with some small stars, lovely picture.
i can see the rectangular shapes of the fire/smoke particles in the screenshots! ...but besides that it looks awesome! :-)

* darker sky - i intend to put skybox there, but something wrong with in the first place, so just hide it away though..
