Is there a way, when creating an executable in bliz, to change the icon (usually a rocket) ?
Thanks
Yes. Modify your blitz runtime .dll with this:-

or alternativley do the same with your compiled EXE :-)
I downloaded resource hacker and it's confusing. I replaced a .exe with a saved .ico and it says that it is replaced but when I go to the .exe it is still the same old rocket. Does the .ico have to be an exact size?
This happens to me also,... if you did it correctly, then everything is correct, but windows is not updating your icon (at least that is what happens to me) I get around it by copying the file to another location, and then the icon gets updated by windows and stays that way.
I tried copying it somewhere else but it stayed the same. I am probably doing it wrong. Is this what you are supposed to do: First open the .exe, then click on the icon under Icon/1 and then click on the action tab and click replace icon. Then go to open file with new icon, find your .ico icon and then click replace.
I did all that. Do I have to save anything? Does the icon have to be a certain size? Did I do this right?
Wohoo! It worked! I am the greatest man alive!
I have the same resourcehacker - I have the same problem too - please could you write a quick 'idiot's guide' for me to explain how you replaced the image???
There is a simple to follow tutorial on the DBF forums, you have to register to acces it in the members only section.
