Skining Buttons?

I coding a media player and I would like to "Skin" the buttons. Actually use a bitmap for the button. Any Ideas?

I dont think you can using the gadget system. I have actually got around this problem though by creating a mini canvas for each button and detecting if the mouse is within that area.

I am becoming increasingly dissalusioned with Blitz Plus because since its release (over a year ago) there have been hardly any new features at all. I'm seriously thinking of going back to Delphi.

Yeah Image buttons should be in.
Also sliders like those for volume values etc.
Seperators for toolbars and vertical toolbars.
Group boxes.

I also miss columns and row grids for creating a simple spreadsheet.

I think that right now the gui elements are very basic and there should be added more.

A small daydream.

Yes I know. I should have more patience. I know Mark is busy with the new compiler but it would have been nice to here some news about Blitz Plus in the news letters. There was none.
